The Wolinsky Family Foundation is a not-for-profit philanthropic organization, created in the year 2000. The foundation is seeking applications from organizations that require some form of financial support. Multiple generations of the Wolinsky family have created an organization committed to helping people and community, in an effort to close the gap between need and resources. The foundation is interested in assisting humanitarian causes, creating a path through which those they help can help others. The organization will consider applications for support in areas of need, including but not limited to education, health and human services, arts and culture, social welfare, and community development. Preference will be given to Jewish-related projects or organizations, but all worthy causes will be given due consideration. The foundation prefers to fund specific projects or proposals, as opposed to making contributions to general operations. Most grant awards will be under $1,000, but larger requests may be considered. Some type of matching funds are preferred, but not essential. The organization will not fund political parties or candidates. The Wolinsky family is proud to create a conduit for giving that will continue into future generations.
